“My 13 year-old daughter and I stayed here for a mother-daughter getaway skiing trip. The locaion could not have been better, the hostess was gracious and quick with responding when I forgot the entry code and lost my Wi-Fi coverage, and we were close to the slopes and everything we wanted to see. The house was well equipped and comfortable. ”

“If you ever wanted to just test drive having your own mountain home, this is the place! It really feels like home, has coffee & washing powders already, even charcoal & lighter fluid. Just show up with what you want to put in the fridge, and pick a spot to relax. That's the hard part, because there are so many good relaxing spots here!”

“The stay was relaxing and tucked away up on the top of the mountain. Everything we needed to cook and we enjoyed the warm welcome with a bottle of wine & chocolate. The deck was my favorite part, plenty of room and comfortable patio furniture, our puppy loved the plush woods and the small trail to a picnic area. You definitely need a vehicle to climb ruff terrain, steep hills, and sharp turns. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, thank you Matt and Chris!”

“We are a family of 6 with 4 kids between 15-21 all of whom are elite distance runners so our plan was to explore the running trails in high altitude in the cool mountain pre-summer climate. This house was the perfect location for us as most of the best trails were accessed via the Blue Ridge parkway which is just 7-8 minutes drive from this house. “This downstairs condo in a 4 unit cabin style condo met our expectations and was just 10 to 15 mins into Boone which is well worth visiting. We particularly enjoyed the rural setting and the short walk around the lake.”
