“Lovely experience at this chateau.”

“Abbiamo soggiornato una notte. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha offerto la stanza nel cottage allo stesso prezzo perché la nostra aveva una scala ripida per accedervi e con una neonata non ce la sentivamo. Colazione fantastica, tutto local e di qualità! Anche qui massima flessibilità, nonostante siamo arrivati dopo l’orario della colazione, non hanno avuto problemi a servirci. Il posto è incantevole”

“The view is grand. But the bedroom is very small for 2 people. There is no elevator in the side building "le petit manor".”

“The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. ”

“The staff were very welcoming and seemed yo appreciate my efforts to communicate in very limited French. Managed to be understood. Great location - very close to Giverny. Plenty of food options ... in house dining and many restaurants in neighbouring Vernon ”

“A lovely place with caveats - it is on the shore of a Seine canal - whatever gave me the impression (now I am not sure if it was a picture or in the hotel description) of a beach, was wrong. Also "free parking" offered to be taken literally or technically - it is street parking on the side of the canal; not guaranteed but seemingly hotel confident it can accomodate all guests with vehicles. we arrived late in the evening and due to the seemingly very popular restaurant on site there was zero……
