My husband and I stayed for three days on our honeymoon, and after a rainy week in Paris, our stay at the Maison Mulato was a breath of fresh air. “My husband & I had a wonderful stay for two nights. The property oozes with charm & character and the owners/staff were so lovely! The location is convenient to everything we wanted to explore in Saint-Emilion, while offering a quiet secluded feel as well. Great design, gorgeous view of vineyards & delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed the wine tasting & tour of vineyard! 10/10 experience and will be sure to recommend to our friends back home.”

“Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip.”

“Freshly renovated but still very old rooms. Squeaky floors, doors that have to be closed by key that not working very well. Advertised parking, not on site, you have to walk up and down the large stone road to get to the hotel. Food interesting but pricey. ”
