“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blueslate Cottage in Curraweela. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly hosts who have truly created a peaceful haven.The cottage itself is rustic and cozy, yet very well-appointed with everything we needed. It had a charming, lived-in feel that made us instantly relax. The views were stunning—especially the sunsets, which were nothing short of magical.Our daughter was absolutely delighted by the friendly horses, playful dogs,……

“Property was comfortable for 14 people. Only stayed two nights with extended family but overall was very nice. Could use a bit of attention in places. On tank water so supply not reliable. Rustic but charming location.”

“When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. No charming vistas, just a grotty dam and rubbish. To be fair, the bathrooms were modern and clean. The beds were also……

“We had a great time despite the weather being rainy and windy. Kathleen and Ken were so welcoming and made sure we were looked after and even showed us the animals in the rain. On arrival they had the heater on so the place was toasty which was so inviting. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, it has beautiful views and is very neat. The animals were lovely and getting to feed them was the absolute highlight!”

“My wife and I had a very relaxing longweek end at Hidaaway far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had all the creature comforts. When heading away for a weekend or longer, we always pack a bag of staples as usually here is sometimes not provided such as salt peper, olive oil and the like.
