Most of my experience at Days Inn was great. Room was clean and well-kept, staff was most friendly, and the breakfast was actually good and filling unlike many other hotels I've been to. Normally, I would give this 4 or 5 stars. However...
The bed mattress was way too firm and the pillows way too soft and flimsy. I could barely sleep and when I had to get up, my back and neck would be sore. I was there for three nights and after the first night, I had to go out and buy my own pillow just so I could get some better measure of sleep.
Even THEN, after nights 2 and 3... while my neck was no longer sore, my back still hurt for a while. This place sorely needs softer mattresses, because I'm sure I'm not the only one with this kind of problem. Pillows need to be thicker and fuller too.
Frankly, I feel like giving 3 stars is being generous, since the quality of sleep for the customer is at the very heart of staying at a hotel. Everything else about this place was excellent. Getting a good night sleep? Not so much. 😔
