Like most IHG properties, this one is clean, very nice, quiet and pleasant staff. Have great amenities, I just wish that hotels like this would offer 24 hr pool and hot tub amenities like others we have stayed at. Sometimes it’s nice not to be rushed after check in to enjoy the amenities that hotels like this offer, otherwise why even have them if most of your patrons never get to use them due to closing and opening times. That’s only 1 of 2 gripes I have about this establishment, the other is the security deposit amount and time it takes to be reimbursed. They tell you that they don’t take money off your card but they do in fact take a $250 sum out of your bank account or credit card if you live within 40-50 miles of this place. Then if your stay is on Saturday, expect your money to be put back on Wednesday or Thursday after your stay. DO NOT, I repeat, Do Not use cash app or any other money app as your deposit or you are looking at 30 days to get your $250 deposit back. And yes I was told that they don’t actually remove funds from your account they just put a hold on it. Not sure what part of removing 250 from your checking account constitutes telling someone they don’t “actually “ do that. Quite the contrary, they do physically remove it and keep it for 4-5 days before they give the money that was taken, back. But however they wish spin it so you don’t think you are pay$500 for a one night stay at a holiday inn. Nice motel and staff but this policy is why it’s a no go
