I talked to the hotel several times, they rest assured me that I would be able to do an early check in as that is what I requested when I booked my trip. Upon arriving a rep with the hotel told me that they had to early check in. Even though another rep at the hotel that I spoke to assured me that it was notated and that they would be aloe to. I came into town for a family funeral, already going through some of the worst times. I pull up to the hotel and am waiting in the lot, a man ran up to me, and tried to open my passenger door, I locked it immediately and honked and drove off. As I was driving off there was a gentleman in a wheel chair that came fast in front of me when he knew I was leaving , it was a very scary situation and I had felt unsafe.....
I called the hotel and let hem know what happened, they said since you booked though Expedia that I would have to contact them.
I got on my phone and my service was bad because I was in the mountains of Tennessee. I tried the chat option and spoke to a gentleman. He was nice and was doing everything he could to help. I told him all that happens and that I requested s full refund back to my original payment method. He calls the hotel and after a wait, he came back and told me "good news! The hotel front desk will cancel the stay and agreed to a full refund. I replied and said great! And the chat got disconnected.
I didn't receive a follow up email, text or phon call to reach back out to me. You said you would not refund..
