Very nice place . This was my first time to stay at the Best Western in Maggie Valley definitely not my first time visiting Maggie . This is a very clean hotel to say the least , cant wait to come back in the summer and be able to visit the pool .

I like staying here because of it’s location and convenience to my needs. Staff has always been nice and helpful and my rooms have always been clean. Breakfast is tasty and convenient and I don’t have to go anywhere else to spend money. It’s my go to spot whenever I have a conference in the area.

This is a clean, nice hotel. Room was very spacious and looked to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very skilled and friendly. I enjoyed my stay. My only qualms with the hotel is the shower controls and the bar next door. The shower was a bit wonky and getting the water temperature right was a challenge. The Legends bar next made a very good chef salad but its proximity to hotel made for a lot of outside noise. When there was a live band and even with Kareoke, the music as loud enough to be heard inside my hotel room. That combined with a continual parade of very loud Harley’s going into and out of Legenda and the hotel, it was somewhat loud and disturbing until around 10 or 11 each night. I know the hotel can’t do anything about that but it is good to know if something like that bothers you. I learned to live with it fine over my two night stay. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

The noise was so bad above our room we hardly slept at all both nights. The front door has a gap in it a snake could crawl in. The breakfast was awful. Everything but the coffee was cold. We told the desk lady and she stirred the gravy like that would heat things up.

I will say that the bed was absolutely amazing. I actually looked at the type of mattress to possibly purchase in the future. Having said that, the curtains did a really poor job at blocking the outside light to the point where I had to use pillows against the ac system to push the curtain closer to the window. The window also does a really poor job at blocking the traffic noise but thankfully we had earplugs but if we hadn’t, it would have been incredibly difficult to fall asleep.

The place was great, the only negative was that there were no poop bags in the dog poop dispenser, but we brought our own, and the sink was clogged but house keeping and maintenance was quick to fix it while we were out to dinner.
