Ask about Neighboring cabins Deep Creek Overlook VRBO # 419101, Sweet T's Cabin 691298 & Little Ts cabin 1991899. Luxury log cabin located in Bryson City’s wonderful Deep Creek community atop your own private mountain. Panoramic views of deep creek valley with the sounds of deep creek’s rushing water below. Only a minute from the great smoky mountains national park, where you can tube deep creek, fish, swim, hike, and see picturesque waterfalls. Relax in the Hot Tub on the covered deck with an awesome mountain view. Black Bear Lodge accommodates up to 6 guests.
This is a true log cabin with hardwood floors, tongue and groove walls and ceilings. Cabin is a three bedroom ranch plan with huge “A” frame middle with lots of glass and awesome views from inside. Master bedroom has a king sized bed with stone shower for two in the private bath. Master also has a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The other two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and share a bathroom.
The middle has a kitchen, dining area, eat in island, separate laundry room with washer/dryer, fireplace and the wrap around porch. The great room has soaring cathedral ceilings with lots of windows, new leather furniture, gas log fireplace and HD flat screen TV with a DVD library. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is well appointed with most everything you would need to prepare a gourmet meal. The dining area has a large custom made log table to enjoy your meals with the whole family.

Outside is a private fire pit with seating where you can roast marshmellows and make somores. Lots of covered decking where you can relax and gaze over the mountains or read a book.
Black Bear Lodge is all about the location. Conveniently located to all the attractions. The great smoky national park entrance, Tubing Deep Creek and train depot are each only 1-mile away. The panoramic views from the wrap around porch are breath taking. Most activities are very close by:

Breath of fresh air
Lovely cabin with everything we could need, and then some. It was easy to get back into town for dining, and to Cherokee for sightseeing. The road up to the could be daunting at first, and I wouldn't want to go up after dark for the first time, but we had no issue in daytime.The view from the front porch rocking chairs is worth the trip in itself. There is lots of space for a family to be comfortable here, enjoying the amenities and privacy.

Very nice! We enjoyed our stay. They provided propane for the gas grill, even had firewood for the firepit. Gas fire logs inside. They provide everything you need including regular coffee pot and a pod coffee pot. Definitely recommend watching the YouTube video the owner provides to get up to the cabin because the driveway is a little tricky.

Heaven on Earth
We needed to disappear for a few days and this was EXACTLY what we needed. You can’t beat the view and proximity to hiking. It was also close enough to town if anything was needed, but you feel just about like you’re the only people on earth at the cabin itself. Lastly, GREAT host communication.

Beautiful Mountain Cabin!
This cabin was just exactly what we were looking for! It has an incredible view of the mountains and has everything you need to relax and unwind. From the rocking chairs on the front patio overlooking the gorgeous views, to the spacious living room, the hot tub and the fire pit, this place was perfect. We definitely recommend and would return for another stay!

Mountain Getaway
Black Bear Lodge was a perfect home base for a visit to the Smoky Mountains. We were able to easily access the park as well as downtown to enjoy the Railway, shops, and restaurants. The view from the porch is fabulous!

Great view nice location. Appliance issues with washer(didn’t drain or spin water out of clothes) fridge took 24 hours to cool enough to protect food spoilage and gas logs would not light with wall control or lighter so could not use. Shower in master did not drain well and water would pool when in use.

Great Property!
This is a wonderful property with a fantastic view! Everything is well maintained and is as the pictures show ~ and more. There is no way to fully describe the beauty of the view in a picture. We loved sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs taking it all in. The lodge was great! It was easy to get in and the host has thought of everything you need for a great stay. Although we did not cook, the kitchen appeared to be well stocked with the pans and utensils you would need. Full size w/d were a plus. We had a couple of cool evenings and were able to enjoy the beautiful fireplace. The beds were all comfortable and it is very quiet so we all slept well. When we visit this area again, we will try to stay at the Black Bear Lodge! Highy recommend it!

Great little Cabin!
Great find. A few amenities need a little TLC and the linen could be fresher but everything was clean and the cabin is a nice quaint find for a small group of adults. Nicely located close to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Maggie Valley as well as the Parkway.

Great place for exploring Great Smoky Mountains
The cabin was comfortable for 3 adults, with amazing mountain views. The location is excellent for exploring the National Park with easy access to Cherokee as well as wonderful hikes in Deep Creek. We enjoyed meals at the dining table and playing games in front of the fire. Nice roomy kitchen with the pots and pans we needed. Driveway a bit tricky and steep but manageable.

Excellent cabin close to Polar Express
We were very pleased with our stay in this cabin. It was furnished exactly as depicted and was well stocked with basic supplies. There was ample room for 6 of us ( including 2 young children) I would definitely recommend this cabin

Peaceful getaway
