"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. ..."

"This house was comfortable and gorgeous! Our kids and dogs loved seeing the birds and even a beaver off the dock. The fire pit right on the water hit the spot on a beautiful evening. There were toys for the kids and extra supplies for everyone. It’s literally right around the corner from Lucille ..."

"We enjoyed staying here very much, we had warm weather and relaxed on the deck much of the time. Full sized bed did not fit 2 people but we were able to spread out. Nothing fancy about this place, no a/c but we managed fine with fans."
