I will not be staying at this hotel again. I booked my room through Expedia and received a confirmation along with proof of payment. However, upon arrival, the front desk attendant insisted that my card had not been charged and asked me to pay again. I showed him the receipt from Expedia clearly showing the charge, but he still directed me to call Holiday Inn Express customer service. After nearly 30 minutes of going back and forth, he finally admitted that the charge had gone through. The situation was confusing, and his lack of professionalism and poor customer service only made it worse.
Once I got to my room, the issues continued. The AC unit was extremely loud and rattled nonstop—I had to place a book on top of it just to dull the noise. The room itself felt outdated and unwelcoming. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.
