While the kitchen is a bit outdated, it still had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location was fantastic - close to everything we wanted to explore. “Our family traveled from both Southern Illinois and Maine to come together to attend a family wedding in Middleburg, VA. The Musical Mountain House was just perfect for our stay. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were so comfortable! The bunk room couldn’t have been anymore perfect for my grandkids. The hot tub was such a nice addition too! The house is located just where we needed…close to the wedding venue, and also close enough for some sight seeing in Shanendoah State Park……

“We loved driving through the cow pasture to get to the house - helped us slow down and relax! We were in town for a graduation, so siblings (and their young children) were all there. There were enough beds for us all, and the kitchen/dining area was cozy for us all. The younger kids enjoyed the yard, while parents could sit on the deck by the river. We had lots of events to attend over the weekend, so hadn't planned on using the house as a "river getaway", so I can't comment on the……
