The property was nice ,were only staying 2 night s ,the toilet was broken, we reported soon as we arrived, at 6pm ,we reported it again at 8pm on the friday ,staying on the 4th floor was terrible to keep going to the bar up and down in the lift ,Saturday morning reported it again still nothing ,7pm Saturday night we moved in to the room next door ,really bad customer service and our room wasn't fit for purpose ,this was our special weekend, anniversary !!

Nice to be by the canal but the outdoor seating was not clean and the outdoor seating at the front was overlooking the car parks. Had to walk through a run down area from the train station to get to the hotel, and to get into town you had to walk through/over a busy underpass. Room was spacious but was not cleaned properly over the four days we were there. Dirty glasses left in room the entire time. Cheap flimsy plastic mugs provided instead of glasses. The fan in the bathroom would not turn off and whistled loudly the whole time. Breakfast was good but would have liked some fresh fruit salad.

Very good value for money, 5 minute walk to city centre, food was great. The only downside was £7.50 for a bottle of cider. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcome from all the staff we encountered. Rooms were beautiful & clean. Food at the restaurant at breakfast & evening were delicious. One small downside- the bed mattress was lumpy but that didn't spoil our stay!

This was our second stay , room was very tired and bathroom, shower , etc really in need of change , we had drinks in the bar which is quite nice , we ate in the restaurant which was pretty average to be fair , best thing is the buffet breakfast, room wasn’t worth £92 , 1st stay was better .

Allowed to check in early. Had to pay for parking but we were given an extended time free of charge. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Gym was excellent for a hotel. Pool was lovely and clean! Breakfast in the morning was great and excellent service. Hotel is slightly dated but has an old school vibe so it suits it. All amenities available in the room. Comfortable nights sleep

Everything was clean, well maintained and the staff was excellent. Really great facilities as well. The one downside was the shower in the room bathroom - to fit as a corner unit the door was SO small I had to turn sideways to get in and even then I had to squeeze in.
