“We came here for a three day weekend, little family getaway. There were 12 of us, five adults and seven children, ranging from age 4 to 16. We all had a great time! The swanky bar and the garage game room were the hotspots. There were plenty of fun activities for everyone to do! We all loved all of the retro amenities, from the popcorn maker, record player to the jukebox and everything in between We had a few issues with the hot tub, but the hosts were readily available to help with it. “We just loved "The Nook"! The home and grounds were very clean and well stocked with supplies. Hiked, played games, went to the beach, played Bocce Ball in the huge yard. We also made s'mores around the fire pit and had a family table tennis match. The game room above the garage was well used...a favorite place. It was nice that the kitchen was so big that everyone could eat at the same time. Thank you, Penny!”

The bedrooms were very comfortable and the ceiling fans appreciated. We will plan on staying at the Stone Lake Getaway in the future. We stayed at this rental from Thursday to Monday. Using the paddle boards was very fun and we were happy that the weather permitted.”
