“To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so……

“This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the dishes and appliances you would need. It was SUPER clean. The double beds were cozy - we are used to a Queen size, so we just cuddled. All good, and comfortable mattresses. The view is stunning, and the quiet street made a midnight walk by the water a beautiful end to our……

“Beautiful spacious house near Cape Breton National Park. Great location with restaurants in walking distance. House was spotless and well equipped. Loved it-highly recommend.”

“My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.”

“Nice little cottage. Beach walks with coffee in the morning. Nice fire pit and chairs. Kitchen could use a few more pots pans and gizmos. Spices would be nice too. Overall very good”

“We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! ”

“Here are a few things that we would like to add: There was not enough shampoo, no saran wrap or foil paper, no tea or coffee, no curtains in patio door. Oven mitts should be replaced as one of the ladies got burned removing something from oven. Every place that we stayed had enough shampoo and all these items mentioned above.We would like to say thank you for letting us sign in at 3 pm instead of 4 pm which helped a lot.”

“Comfortable cabin in the woods. Easy access by car to Cheticamp and the western side of Cape Breton. Recommend.”

“Visiting from BC to surprise my sister for Christmas. Trip was her Christmas gift and my wife has never been to CB. Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. The room was quiet and warm. Would stay here again.”

“A unique stay in a great location. Everything you need in a compact way. You just need to be careful on the ladder with the middle of the night trip to the toilet! ”

“We spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. In the middle of a busy road trip, it was the perfect break. Clean, ocean views, hot tub and beach access. It absolutely was well represented by the listing. Hoping we will be able to come back! ”
