“The place is not as clean or luxurious as they advertise. The mattress was very old, squeaky and very soft. The type of soft that just sinks when you lay down and it’s impossible to sleep on. When we told management about it and asked for a partial refund since we weren’t able to get any sleep, we were told that a partial refund it’s not possible, that they can’t accommodate requests regarding mattress preferences and plainly told us we can go ahead and sleep on the couch; which is ridiculous.……

“This is excellent value for competent travellers. If you want to stay in a centre-edge place in Bucharest, and get to and from the airport cheaply and easily, it is unbeatable. You have to ring or write ahead to get the building code; it's easier than that may sound, and I found the operators to be highly efficient. “Loved the stay at Central Class, the bed and sofa was very comfortable! Unfortunately the church right outside the window was quite loud and there was two dogs that were barking all night long. The bathroom also smelled a bit of sewage and could need a deep clean. The apartment however was great. Had everything we needed to make breakfast och a little table where we could work. The stairwell and elevator in the house was quite rundown but apartment was nice. ”

The property was nice, and in a great location, but the Rembrandt front desk has very little authority over Windmill, which appears to be run by managers behind the curtain.
