Don't be deceived by the professional photos on the website. What you see is not what you get. The photos show a superior king room with a dramatic, lighted ceiling. In reality, they only have one of these rooms. When we checked in, we said it wasn't the room we paid for. The staff said we got the "superior room" (i.e. floorplan), but without the dramatic flair. If we had known we weren't going to get the room represented in the photo, we would have opted for a less expensive one with a balcony. They said our particular room wasn't available and that we could switch after the first night. Really?
The rooms themselves are quite nice and updated. However they could be a bit cleaner. We still wipe down all surfaces from our pandemic days, and it was obvious that some of the surfaces had not been cleaned in quite some time. Even the nightstand had a dead bug on it.
The bathroom was clean and all basic toiletries were provided. Unfortunately, the only towels provided were the ones used to make the towel art on the bed. These towels were stained and extremely tattered We literally felt like we were drying off with the same towels somebody used to wipe their feet at the front door. They should have been thrown away 3 years ago.
For those that use tp and tissue, note that your room may not be stocked. Also, the "fitness room" has just enough to be added as an amenity. We opted not to eat from the buffet after receiving coffee with spoiled milk.
We won't be booking again.
