“The property is in a residential area so it is nice and quiet at night. Consequently, you need to be quiet yourself, but it makes for a perfect night time get away after busy days in the city. There are lots of restaurants in the area providing plenty of food options for lunch, dinner, or a late night snack. With heasy access to Hatsudai station, I highly recommended this stay as a home base for your Tokyo excursions. ”

“The house is well kept, quiet and best of all the neighborhood is amazing. As foreigners who doesn't speak the language, we have issues with communication. However, everyone I approached for help did their very best to help us out especially directions. There is one man in particular who went above and beyond and without hesitation, walking with his bike with us to find the place when we attempted to walk home. “We had 6 adults: Two parents age 50s, son girlfriend in 20s, two others 24 and 45. Plenty of space and it worked out well. Plenty of towels, a washer/dryer 2 separate toilets and a large shower and bath area but the shower and the separate bath are in the same large room, though you can close off the bath. It is very conveniently located to the subway/trains and to plenty of food and drinks. Plus close to a little market and 7-11. Japan has thousands of 7-11s and mini markets where……

“Avoid this property at all costs! It was a nightmare, owner couldn’t be contacted for hours (tried to call him and no one picked up the phone) and only after we got a hold of him, he informed us that the place was double booked. We were travelling with 2 young kids and waited nearly 2 hours in front of this property. It was 9 pm and we had to scramble to find a place to stay. The owner offered another location which was in Shinjuku, which is on the opposite of the city. This was a terrible……

“We had a wonderful stay at this charming house. The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, offering both a quiet retreat after hours of traveling Tokio and easy access to nearby attractions via Tram/Metro.”

“Quiet walkable area, close to the station, shops, and groceries. House is two stories each floor rented out separately, it was comfortable for 4 adults. ”

“Place was clean and a very traditional Japanese house. If you want authentic, this is your place. Only 1 chair and desk, so sitting on the floor all the time is a bit tough. Good location, quiet and quaint. Could use some helpful kitchen items like oil, soy sauce, s&p. Instructions throughout house was great. Great udon mom and pop shop around corner and local museum. Close to subway and quick bus to Asakusa and other areas. ”
