This property is a catfish! These pictures does NOT match the property at all!!! It was feces on the wall , no a c working, tv didnt work , smelled horrible in the hallways, it was a dead roach on the tv. The hotel name is now called the “halsted inn” on the building not comfort in. They tried to change us to around room which was in the same condition. It was people just lingering in the hallways looking suspicious and they wouldn’t give us the key card to the second room saying since we were checking right out in the morning we didnt need to card. Me and my partner ended up not sleeping there and left right after he front desk guy said us that and drove to a motel near by spending morw money because we could not sleep in that place at all! Biggest scam i ever went through booking a hotel. I repeat DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!

Saying this is Quality Inn is very misleading. Then when I got there after already paying I had to put in a security deposit or “they’d keep my DRIVERS LICENSE as a deposit an put me in the 1st or second for” because the third door is quality And the lower floors are halsted or whatever. I went to the actual quality inn thinking that’s where I was staying. Then they had days inn door hooks in the room and another hotel name for the key holders. There was no black out curtains, the chair that was supposed to be in the room wasn’t there, no ice even though there’s a huge ice sign as soon as you walk in. No cups or actual comforters on the bed. Ridiculous and I want to demand my money back. If I don’t get my deposit back I’m reporting as scam surely. False advertising to the T!

I was looking for a quick getaway for me and my husband birthday. I was under the impression we would be staying at the Wind Creek Casino Hotel . As I arrived at the Casino the attendant directed me to the Comfort in Hotel down the street which use to be the Days inn. It looks as if they just bought the building. The Building was under construction . It was dirty looking as we walked in the front lobby getting on the elevator. The room it self was clean it looked new modeled but there was no garbage can in the room no extra blankets it was one towel . We had no Ice machine in the whole building . The nights the smoke detector kept going off in the building and no one communicated with us on what was going on. We did end up staying due our drive been a ways away . But I do not recommend no one to stay there unless the property presentation gets better.

I didn't even stay at this filthy establishment. I thought I was booking for the WIND CREEK HOTEL, it turned out to be Halsted Inn. When you go to entrance of the garbage beats you the front desk,there are people outside smoking and arguing making it a very uncomfortable place to be. A person with about 4 bags was sleep in the lobby. I demanding a refund.

The pictures on Expedia are not accurate and they are not actually the hotel. The hotel does not even have the Comfort Inn on the front of the building. It has an old hotel name on it. The hotel did not have towels and told me they wouldn’t be getting in any for the next few days. The hotel was very dirty and the gentleman at the front desk was very rude. The air did not work and they ended up moving my room but when I got to the second room, the air did not work in there either. They didn’t inform me they were going through renovations and that’s why they are lots of holes in the lobby in the walls and everything was dirty and does not look like what I saw on the website. It’s in a very bad neighborhood and there were lots of homeless people in the parking lot.

This property has nothing to do with a casino. They tried to give us a room that any time we leave they would have to let us back into. It was so hot in the room we had to leave the door open (unsafe). Someone complained saying we were to loud cause of the door being open the desk called my cell phone NOT THE ROOM PHONE CAUSE IT DIDNT WORK. After talking to the front desk and letting him know they complaining cause the door was open cause it was so hot his reply was open the window that didn’t have no screen came all the way open that someone could claim in or I could jump out (unsafe). Had to sleep with the windows open needless to say I didn’t get any sleep was supposed to stay 2nights end up getting a refund for one night.

False advertising, based off the pictures, the new hotel was an old run down hotel. I called the number and there was not even a greeting. The man that answered just said hello and I was thinking is this the correct number. Finally I said I’m calling a hotel number if this it, then he said oh yes this is hotel. I asked where it was and he said we’re here in the court yard and I looked and said nope, nothing like the pictures so I left and booked with IHG Matteson, IL, new and clean
