Nice to stay

Hotel location is perfect, where it is just next the Grand metro station and car rental is in the B1. Very convenient. The only thing to complain is that we asked the house keeping service and no come.

The room was clean with a good view of the city. The location is perfect for walking around and ride-shares/taxis are easily available throughout the day/night. Would stay there again.

The property is ideally located in River North, which is the heart of Chicago. Plenty of activity, easy accessibility to all other areas of the city, very walkable to shopping and restaurants (hotel next to Weber Grill). Parking is available, but as expected…costly!

Muy buena ubicación, cerca de todo. cuartos amplios y muy confortables. Cama cómoda gran tv microwave, gran vista y cómodo para trabajar . el personal del hotel muy amable. Olvidamos 1 valija en el hotel y fueron muy amables en ayudarme a enviarla en un uber al aeropuerto y mo perdí el vuelo gracias a eso. Hotel is clean and great spot. They charge you for everything and its expensive! I shipped 2 boxes in prior to my stay, and got there 4 days before but they wanted to charge me $800 storage fee! I told them your crazy! They then settled on $100?!?!?!

This hotel is in a perfect location. Went to Chicago to watch baseball at Wrigley & Rate Field. The red line train is steps from the hotel entrance and takes you to both ball parks within 15-20 minutes. The hotel is a few blocks from the river walk and surrounded by restaurant options. Only knock was the noise at night with constant sirens going off which is outside of the hotels control. Pack some ear plugs and you will love the location of this hotel.

My wife and I were in Chicago to do some shopping and take in the sights. Our room was on the 16th floor on the corner, of grand and state, we had two windows; one faced south, and another faced west with a good view. The room was clean and comforted. The staffed were nice and friendly and if you needed anything; they took care of it. It was in a good location to walk to Navy pier, river walk or to Michigan Ave to do some shopping. If I had any complaints, it would be the sirens from the fire department you would here all night. That wouldn't be the Hotels fault. I would stay here again.

Easy access to downtown, bathroom was clean, elevators quick, beds comfortable, parking situation was not explained. Do not pay in parking lot-pay in hotel lobby for in/out privileges. Lighting in rooms was poor. No ventilation in bathroom, Pool dirty. No room service available. Coffee was only out for a short time.

I am an honors member of Hilton Garden Inns, and have stayed in them all over the US and Europe. Usually they are very good. Here, some of the staff were friendly and professional. Others looked bored and disinterested. One young woman refused to reserve me a taxi for an early ride to the airport. She said I had to come down fifteen minutes early (at 5 am) and they would call one. No guarantee of a taxi at that hour, and I have to come down early. Also another day the staff could not give me change for a five dollar bill. And to extend my stay an extra day I had to reserve online then come back to the desk and hope to get the same room (one night I did, the next night I didn't). They couldn't do it at the desk. Yes I know there is an app but I couldn't load it and the young man at the desk did try but couldn't do it on my phone. And sorry, but $5.50 for a TINY bag of potato chips (maybe 7 or 8 chips?) for $5.50???? ... I probably won't be back.

I enjoyed my stay here. Everything that I wanted to do was within walking distance. The subway was right across the street which made it very easy to get around the city. The staff was very helpful and check in was smooth. The property is a little dated but kept very clean. When I come back to visit, I’ll definitely stay here again!
