I’m very disappointed with my recent stay at The Chicago Hotel Collection. Several issues made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable:
The receptionist at check-in was rude and passive-aggressive. We were barely informed about the mandatory amenity fee, and when we asked questions, we were threatened with cancellation of our booking.
Housekeeping was supposedly only offered on the third night, yet we stayed three nights and never received service.
On checkout day, I was charged an unexpected $25. I had already paid everything at check-in, and the front desk couldn’t explain the additional fee.
It’s been over 48 hours since checkout, and I still haven’t received my deposit refund.
This was a very disappointing experience and not what I expect from a property listed on Expedia
