The fact that we have stayed at the Silversmith at least a half dozen times should speak for itself - you do not return to a bad experience. We recognize many of the staff from our previous visits, and more important, they treat us like guests not customers. You can get a cookie cutter stay from any chain, but it takes a special place like the Silversmith to make the stay more than just a place to sleep. The location of the hotel was the original selling point, conveniently located in the loop, with many of the places we wanted to go within walking distance, but it is the staff at the hotel that makes it the place we make a point of returning to, not looking anywhere else.
