The owners were the epitome of hospitality—warm, welcoming, and genuinely sweet—always ready to lend a hand with anything we needed, whether it was local recommendations or small touches to make our stay more comfortable. Their attentive care made us feel truly pampered throughout our visit. The location was another delightful perk, perfectly situated just a stone’s throw from a wide array of dining options, giving us plenty of choices to explore nearby restaurants and cafes at our leisure. Our stay at The Sono was great! We were only staying a night and booked a queen room, and they gave us a free upgrade to a king room since it was unoccupied. The room was fantastic & clean, the breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and the voucher for free street parking made this the best option for our stay. I would definitely stay again.

The Sono Chicago was a dream! Staff & Owner were friendly, accommodating, and gave great advice for dining & entertainment. Our bed was comfortable, bathroom was luxurious, and the balcony was fun for morning coffee. There is a nice rooftop area with seating and fire tables where you can relax/socialize. Parking was convenient and FREE! I def recommend The Sono Chicago!

We absolutely loved staying here. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, and there were beverages and snacks available. Easy check in and out, easy parking, everything was smooth and wonderful.

Awesome!

It was very clean and tidy. When we needed new towels they were there. Halfway through our stay everything was deep cleaned. The owners were extremely nice and offered a wide variety for breakfast. Any questions we had were answered quickly and effortlessly. Our room was cozy and the upstairs roof patio had a view that was beyond breathtaking. The place is close to downtown and in a good area to go anywhere in Chicago.
