“It was great, we just didn’t realize it was a neighborhood of cabins”

“We each thought it was a little diamond in the rough. Lovely decor, large bath, great screen porch where you can watch the mountain sunset! Outdoor firepit!Recommended!”

“Overall it was a good experience, but there were a few flaws. The walls are very thin that you can hear people talk in the apartment next to it. Check in instructions were not very clear which made it difficult to get into the apartment. The decorations and amenities were good and clean. This isn’t the owner’s fault, but the fire alarm went off twice for no apparent reason (no one was cooking or doing anything that might set it off). It’s a good location. Overall 4/5 star stay. ”

“Cozy apartment was good for a week’s stay. Parking was convenient in the downtown area. Only a block from the riverwalk and short walk from the Walnut bridge and arts district.The coffee table leg was broken but I did not notice until halfway through my stay so it didn’t really bother me. An entry way table or coat rack and bedroom nightstand would be nice to set things down and some more kitchen amenities like plates would be appreciated!”

“We stayed at The Bear House over Thanksgiving weekend and truly enjoyed our stay! We were visiting our son and his family for the holiday and we were only about a one minute drive from his house. The check in process was very easy - I met one of the owners and she is a lovely lady that made us feel at home. The house was decorated for Christmas and was very charming!
