Located in the heart of Chico, one block from beautiful Bidwell Park and a short walk to downtown, this charming, newly-renovated bungalow offers everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway. Whether you're sipping coffee on the front porch or trying your hand at bocce ball in the backyard under the twinkle lights, this sweet, completely redone 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home provides a clean and comfortable place for you to enjoy all that Chico has to offer. Be sure to check out the legendary jukebox from Duffy's Bar in downtown Chico, given to us as a wedding present! Grab the beach chairs and head to One-Mile, the local swimming park just a couple of blocks away. Or hop on a beach cruiser bike and take a ride through tree-lined streets, just a few blocks to the heart of downtown Chico. With thoughtful amenities and cozy details, you’ll feel right at home here! Plenty of street parking directly in front of the house.

Very clean and cozy home
My son and I were in town to check out Cal State Chico and the location of the property was minutes away from the campus. We were able to get a good lay of the land while we mere there while enjoying the comfort and attention to detail in the house! Walking into the house after a 7 1/2 hour drive from Orange County and walking out of the 103 degree heat into the air conditioning and ceiling fans was heaven!! The juke box is so cool and has an excellent assortment of music that we enjoyed! Would definitely stay there again! Had to communicate with the host just about resetting the juke box to work and received a response and solution within minutes!

Summer Chico vibes
We love this little bungalow for it's location and Chico charm! The street parking on Pine St. can be a little tight so just be careful when exiting your car. This is our 4th summer staying here and we'll be back next year.

Almost Perfect Bungalow
Only parking was on busy Street. While not perfect it passed. Well maintained and nice property. Master bedroom super. Twin bed in second bed was not particularly comfortable but made it work. Immaculate place nicely decorated and comfy. Thanks

Cozy Bidwell Bungalow
My teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bidwell Bungalow! The house is walking distance to downtown and the park which makes it really fun and easy to get around town. The best part (for me) was playing the old Duffy's jukebox when I was hanging out in the house! I would definitely book this house again!

Brief But Excellent Stay Near Bidwell
Great bungalow within walking distance of Lower Bidwell Park. We swam at Sycamore pool to beat the heat. Was also just a short drive to downtown and Sierra Nevada Brewing. My only complaint was that one of the provided bikes had a flat tire, but since the bikes were a bonus in the first place I really don't think it's fair to complain about that. Bocce court in the back was a fun touch. And very cool old jukebox in the living room. I didn't end up communicating with the owners due to our being in a rush, but the intro email provided easy to follow info for arrival and everything went very smoothly. Thanks for a great stay!

The street parking is a little less that desired but not a big deal for us and the back bedroom gets pretty warm during the summer months but the fans help a lot. We enjoy the outside seating a ton on the cooler mornings and the jukebox is so FUN! Location is perfect for walks in Bidwell or to downtown.

Great spot !
We loved the location we could ride to Bidwell Park and swim at 1 mile- loved having bikes for adults to use. Close to downtown for live music and restaurants. The home was clean and the backyard was perfect for kids and dogs to play.

Great Place to Stay in Chico!
My husband, our two young children plus our dog Misty had a wonderful stay at the Bidwell Bungalow! My husband and I met at Chico State over 10 years ago and returned this past week to attend his MBA grad ceremony. This home was in such a great location, we walked into downtown multiple times daily and walked to campus. It was the perfect size for our family, decorated nicely and clean inside. The juke box was really cool! We enjoyed playing music while home. Our kids called it the "big juice box" and thought it was amazing! Next time we are in Chico we will stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Bungalow
We loved our stay at the Bidwell Bungalow. Super cozy and the perfect location for exploring Chico within walking distance of downtown and Bidwell park. Downtown Chico Getaway
We had a nice visit! It was a perfect location and close to everything. Only downside was parking. We were confused on where to park. Didn't seem like it was okay to park on the street in front of the house. It was a very busy road and a lot of traffic going very fast. More direction on this would have been helpful.
