“The guy running the place is a real Aussie battler who is doing his best despite being left in the lurch by insurance companies after the flooding in 2022. As a result the motel is a little bit tired, but it's a great location for an overnight stay being within walking distance of all of the places to eat and right next to the riverside park.”

“ good motel but a couple of things could be improved. Lighting in the room is very harsh and could be softer. Only one small bedside table shared between beds. Colour of the bricks very dark and depressing”

“This is a lovely, simple, country style motel, typical of the area with parking directly outside the rooms. Greg and his team are fantastic, very friendly and they keep the place nice and clean. Being an older property, the room we had, had quite a strong musty/damp odour (the bathrooms don't have vents) and it's near the highway which can be noisy if you're a light sleeper, with trucks regularly passing. However, it's still a nice place to stay considering the location and service. ”

“Stay one night Christmas eve , and left on 25/12 ,it was Christmas holiday, the city was so quiet, even we could not find any restaurant for our dinner.lucky we find one and only one in the down town the chinese express shop. And the hotel in charge tell us,he would leave on 24 /12 night and no body staff left.told us to leave the key while check out, just ok. it was quiet unbelieve that no in charge staff on duty to manage the hotel. so I took experience that no next time coming on this date.”

“Comfy and safe. The problem was the night noise from neighbors’s cabin. They put an open air cinema with high volume. It was impossible even to talk or watch TV on my place. My small grandson couldn’t sleep.”
