“Very pleasant and comfortable rooms in a well maintained historic building. Restaurant is good for lunch and dinner too. My only demerit is that staff will ring quite late, apparently not aware some people sleep before midnight. ”

“Absolutely amazing. Dead-center of everything you'll want to see and do in Valparaiso. If you can, get a room with the terrace view, which provides direct access to the stairs to the roof and its stunning 360 degree views. The couple that runs this place are just lovely and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Our only complaint was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. A lot of the restaurants in the area served huge portions, and we had nowhere to put the leftovers.”

“This is truly a work of art. The charm of the hotel cannot be understated. The Art Deco masterpiece was a labor of love for this architect. The elevator is truly a wonderful classic. The rooftop restaurant has great food and views are quite nice. Loved the deep tub. Wood floors are comfortable. In a great location. Walked to lots of the main sites. Breakfast is great and the dining room also once again is true to the art deco theme. The pink color is charming and the tile stunning. The……
