We stayed here while travelling and moving, and I’ve debated posting this, but the experience was too unsettling to ignore.
I was excited to enjoy the pool with my partner, so we made our way there on the first day. The hot tub in the pool area was marked “closed” with caution tape, but still had power. A nearby “spa” button (which seemed like it was for the pool) activated the hot tub jets and sprayed us with foul, stagnant water. We later learned through another review, it had been closed for two years — meaning this was likely hazardous, untreated water.
To make matters worse, the room we were in didn’t have a working deadbolt, which made us feel even less safe. When we reported the hot tub incident and filled out an incident report, the front desk staff just nervously smiled and didn’t call a manager or offer any meaningful help.
This stay left us shaken. Between the safety hazards and the lack of response, I can’t recommend this hotel until serious improvements are made.
