The AC is not working, the cabinet doors was broken is not safe especially if theres a kid. Theres no hook to hang the towel in the washroom. But one of the staff is really good she fixed the tv and she brought us the portable AC.

The location is great (kitty-corner from the public pool and a short walk from the lake front). The staff were friendly enough. However, the facilities have seen better days: The lobby door needs repair, and much of the exterior facade (i.e, marble tiles and canvas awning) need replacement, repair or re-painting. A good pressure wash would help too ! Indoors, a closet door in one room hung only the bottom hinge while holes on walls and doors throughout the building need patching. Rugs need a good shampooing if not actually replacement. In the bathrooms, there was either no soap or no shower gel, and the showers were ineffective because the head could not be fully switched from "soak" mode to anything with sufficient pressure to shower properly. The heating system was either not working or it was shut off earlier in the season. First nioght was cold. Housekeeping left much to be desired too: our rooms were not visited at all during our 2-night stay.

Had the room next to the hotel spa control room and it had a really harsh bad smell. Bathroom fan didn’t work nor did the room air unit. Smoke alarm in room was also missing and when we got there we had no towels and had to track down the maids. Staff also seemed confused when asked simple questions. Other than that it is in a good location and for the price you can’t really expect a whole lot.

The first room had black mold in bottom of vanity in the bathroom, the tap on the vanity was loose & was leaking water into the bottom of the vanity over a long time period which created the black mold. I asked for a different room which they complied to very promtly

Stained tub, didn’t use. Housekeeping poor, leftover liquor can on fridge. Evidence of possible bugs in one of the beds. No ventilation, no screens on window so unable to open for fresh air. Under repairs with unfinished wall exposed. Too tired to just leave but considered forfeiting and trying to drive home.

The room was ok. Bed was clean and comfortable however the bathtub was not. The room had no air conditioning. Room was very warm even with temps into low teens. They advertised breakfast for a fee but not sure as to where they have as the hotel is under renovations. The town itself was cute but the smell from the hot springs was nasty.

I booked through Expedia for a pet friendly room and it said to call the property to let them know. I spoke to an agent and she said she will put a note down on the reservation. Upon check in, I did not mention the dog thinking I didn't need to and the check in agent said they did not know about it. The hallways had a pee smell on the way to the room due to the washrooms on the floor which I thought was kinda weird. The bathroom in my room did not have shower gel and when I inquired the front desk about it, they said they would check with housekeeping. We went out for dinner and came back. They said there's no more shower gel so they gave us soap bars instead. The 2nd day, we needed an extra bath towel in the room and they said they will send housekeeping up. I watched the agent write it down on a sheet of paper. They never came up with the towel. The walls in the rooms had chips in many spots, the walls in the washrooms had some cracks, the ceiling tiles had holes/was damaged, the washroom fan didn't really work, the ac didn't really work either, the bed was rather uncomfortable and creaked with any movement,

We stay here a lot. We know what we’re getting for the price. we know it’s been rundown and neglected, but we still like it because it’s so well located within the town. I was very happy to see there are some renovations being done, new paint, curtains, carpet, and new flooring in the bathroom. Looks great! But somebody has to fix the heating and cooling system. Even though we turned the thermostat on cool it was blowing out nothing but hot air. Having the two windows open is not enough to cool down the room. The hotel just started offering breakfast at the little restaurant attached to the hotel for $14. I can’t review on that because we did not go for breakfast this morning. I would be curious as to see what they were offering though. We will definitely stay here again as it is a nice little affordable getaway.

You need to update your hotel…it was a very uncomfortable stay, I would never take a shower with mold, towel bar was broken, staines on the ceiling and drapes, air conditioning did not work so hot all night, peeled paint, noisy we could hear the neighbours talking and person above. Will never stay there again.

I called 24 hrs prior to arriving to confirm that i would need a sleeping cot for my baby and they confirmed everything. The crib they provided was broken and the walls would not stay up... i did not feel safe putting my baby in a broken crib. They did not do anything to assist us. We left the hotel earlier than check out as it was not a good experience.
