Great for a short stay!

This place was decorated beautifully and the furniture was SUPER comfy. Everything was fully stocked and we did not have to worry about running out of extra blankets, sheets, cleaning supplies, or anything of that sort. The location of this place was honestly perfect. It is basically 5-15 minutes away from everything, maybe even less! My husband and I were able to explore SO many cute places and they were all right next to the house.I say this place is great for a short stay because there were just a few things that got a little old. My husband and I brought our puppy because this place is listed as “pet friendly” but it really is not. We could hear the tenets upstairs stomping, yelling, and slamming doors and cabinets which would make our puppy go crazy. (to give context she is a 9 month old GSD in training). Normally we wouldn’t mind the extra noise but it was just really hard with a dog. Also there were a few times that she asked to go outside but we couldn’t take her out because there were kids in the backyard and there is no WAY she would be able to focus if we were out there with the kids. Of course we didn’t care that there were other people out in the yard, it was just hard with a puppy.Overall, though it’s not as “puppy” friendly as we thought, this was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and call home for a few days. We had everything that we needed to be cozy and feel at home. All of the loveliest places in Chilliwack were just a few minutes away from us.

Comfy Stay

The home was nicely decorated. Well-stocked bathroom. Plenty of space. Disappointed that the property advertised an oven, but there wasn’t one. Located on a busy street, but plenty of parking. Close to a park and minutes drive to scenic hike along the river. We had a lovely stay.

Excellent stay close to family

The suite was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to be self contained. The beds are comfortable as well. Lots of bedding and towels were supplied. Andrea, the host, was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the large amount of comfy seating area.

Charming outside area!

I went with my family for a little get away, and the place was just perfect for what we needed! The bbq area is super cozy and cute. Andrea is super Kind and easy to communicate. We had a great experience :)

Fabulous location

Lovely 2 bedroom property with a great backyard. Close to everything and nearby location to walk the dogs. Andrea was so nice. I’d stay there again!

I want to start by saying the inside of this home was quite nice and for the most part clean, beds comfy and as described in advertisement. The outside though was very disappointing. Pool was dirty and ladder rickety; bbq was rusted out; hot tub did not work and water was leaking everywhere; light fixture was real dirty; and electrical cords everywhere which were a real tripping hazard. In addition there was very little privacy as a lady showed up to feed the hosts cat at 7 am causing our dog to bark, a family member of the host showed up at 6 am to bring us fans which we had asked for before our arrival, another fella came to water garden. We understand that things need to be looked after and likely would not have been a problem had we been told, but these people just kept coming unexpectedly throughout our stay. Also the gate is very hard to open if you latch it, which I needed to do as I had a dog. The host also was not real familiar with VRBO and sent several emails asking for the pet fee. It had been paid prior to our arrival but she seemed to not know that. VRBO advised me not pay again. Inside clock did not work, tv remote did not work,plus the road outside of this home was under construction so was real difficult to come and go as crews had to completely stop traffic on this busy street. This place could be lovely with a little work from the owners.
