Built in 1903, the house served as a stopover for pilgrims on the route to Saint Jacques de Compostela. Hence the emblem of the shell on the building
We have a 70m² apartment composed of 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with 2 single beds, a living room, kitchen equipped with a washing machine.
In the living room a sofa, a flat screen TV with wifi.

Excellent location for Chinon town

The property is well located for central chinon but be aware it is on a busy road, is on the ground floor and the bedrooms are at the front of the property. The road can be noisy late at night. The host was excellent throughout from check-in through to check-out. The property was generally clean, very well equipped and spacious for a family of 4. Linen was provided as well as sufficient towels for all guests. The one area for i.provement would be a good vacuum/mop of floors and dusting the surfaces. Overall a good stay.
