The cottage is small and is perfect for a couple or a small family.The views are incredible and the outdoor access is amazing. the owners have a row of Adirondack chairs right along the beach to sit and watch the ships go by ,watch the sunset, and enjoy water activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown Clayton is absolutely picturesque along the water and it’s about a seven minute drive from the cottage. Alexandria Bay is less than……

“Cute little cabin that had a lot of amenities available. Local grocery is only a few minutes away. Problems: beds are hard, the main „queen“ bed is two twins pushed together but the seam isn‘t connected so we kept falling through the middle and it was too small. ‚Would’ve chosen something else had I known. Fan in living room didn‘t work, someone removed the chain and still couldn‘t get it to turn on. Very hot during the summer. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking, be sure to check……

“Check in went very smoothly with Alice meeting us at the cottage and helping us with where to launch our boat and where to put the trailer. I loved the large yard right on the water and plenty of dock space. The cottage was small but cozy and worked out well with our family. Alice was gteat the whole time. I was happy to bring my dog as well. Great stay!”

“It was great, didn’t hurt we hit the HOT sunny weather right on! Photos were spot on, CLEAR water right at the dock . Cottage was roomy , right ON the river, renovated just right. Flowers planted all over for a quaint effect. We had the first 2 days all to ourselves on the river(meaning the A-frame adjacent to us was unoccupied. Which only meant anything for our dog who was loving the river and “his” property. When people came into that property , it only affected him slightly. Some storms came……
