“Les Jardins de Joséphine is a charming hotel in a lovely location with beautifully maintained gardens and a high-standard building. It’s a short drive from the city, and there’s a bakery and coffee shop within walking distance. The room was stylish, comfortable, and spotless. While not huge, it had plenty of space, a comfy bed, and a modern bathroom with a great shower. Including hair conditioner would be a nice extra. The main downside was the check-in process. “We only stayed one night on our way further south, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently situated and beautifully designed, with a large and comfortable seating area downstairs and access to a kitchen. We especially liked the design and ambience of the property and it was quiet and peaceful. The town isn't much to write home about, although has a nice cathedral. We would stay at Erawan Boutique Hotel again.”

“This chateau is nothing short of fabulous. The owner, Phillipe, is gracious and generous. The chateau itself is gorgeous and close to the small town of Evreux. I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was.”
