Modern Home: 2 Ensuites, 17 Min to City & CHC Air

Entire two-bedroom house in a quiet Halswell cul-de-sac. Features a fully equipped kitchen with essential appliances (large fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher). The lounge includes a sofa bed, plus a washing machine and dryer for convenience. Free parking and a large deck for relaxation. Just 17 minutes drive from the city center and airport, and 1 hour 10 minutes to Akaroa Harbour. A New World supermarket is 10 minutes walk away, with nearby parks, restaurants, library and more.

We’re delighted to have you stay with us. Here’s a quick guide to what you have access to:

Entire House: You have exclusive access to the entire house, including two bedrooms, a lounge with a sofa bed, and a large deck for your relaxation.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential appliances, including a large refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, for your convenience.

Laundry: A washing machine and dryer are available for your use during your stay.

By confirming your booking, you agree to comply with the following Rental Rules:

1. Noise Policy: No loud noise is allowed outside after 10:00 pm. As we are located in a residential area, please avoid excessive noise that could disturb our neighbors. If you feel this may be an issue, we kindly ask you not to book.

2. Visitors & Events: Only registered guests are permitted on the property. No parties or gatherings are allowed without prior approval. Any unauthorized gathering will result in immediate cancellation of your stay without a refund.

3. Smoking & Drug Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, and no drugs of any kind are allowed. Any smoking or damage caused by pets inside will result in a $200 additional cleaning fee.

4. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. Any changes to these times must be requested in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate. Late check-outs without prior notice will incur a $50 fee per hour.

5. Age Requirement: All guests must be 21 years or older, except for children accompanied by their parents.

6. Guest Limit: Only the number of guests confirmed at the time of booking are allowed to stay. If additional guests arrive without prior agreement, you may be asked to leave without a refund and/or charged $30 per person per night, up to the property’s limit of 7 people.

7. Pets: Pets are not allowed. If you bring a pet, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Additionally, the homeowners are not liable for any incidents involving your pet and any person or animal.

8. Property Care: Please maintain the property and furnishings in good condition. Removing any items from the property, including linens or kitchen items, is not allowed and you will be charged accordingly if anything is removed.

9. Damages: In the event of any damage, please notify the owner immediately. Guests are responsible for any damage to items at the property, including furniture, appliances, linens, and other household items.

10. Appliance Use: Only use appliances for their intended purposes.

11. Respect the Home: Please treat our home as if it were your own.

12. Before Departure: We kindly ask you to:

a. Empty the fridge.
b. Load the dishwasher and leave it for the cleaner to run.
c. Leave sheets and comforters on the beds.
d. Lock all doors and windows before leaving.

13. Maintenance: Maintenance services are unavailable during your stay unless there is an emergency. Please report any issues, and we will address them after your departure.

14. Liability: The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the property, or for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this booking, all guests agree to assume the risks involved in using the premises, including for those they invite.
