“Easy (country road) 10 minutes to downtown Blacksburg. While we only had three adults on this trip and a small pooch, this home has plenty of sleeping and living space for several more. Indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering together with well appointed kitchen and outdoor cooking area. Highly recommend!”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay! We loved the sunrise out our window that filled the kitchen with so much Joy! The kids loved the huge playground across the quiet cul de sac street. Hubby and I enjoyed the walking trails right next to the home. I would highly recommend this Beautiful home to anyone traveling. Amazing and kind host! “This home and location at SML was like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Perfect for families who like to be on the water. We rented a motorboat for a local marina and came and went as desired from our own private boat dock at the house. We loved the whole stay!”

“The location was quiet and there’s a spacious area for hanging out and playing games. Plenty of sleeping space! Our dogs loved the fenced in area too. A few trails around the area, easy to get to by car. Would love to visit in warmer season. Only downside was the stairs leading to the rooms, pretty steep so may be unsafe for some pets. Also sleeps 10 but only one shower. The hot water never ran out though! Overall a great experience and very responsive hosts. ”

“The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!”

“Loved our stay! If you’re looking to escape the craziness of life and enjoy the calmness of nature, this is the place to do it! It rained quite a bit during our stay but that didn’t take away from our experience one bit! Listening to the rain from inside the yurt was quite peaceful. The yurt was exceptionally clean and Jessica has everything you’d possibly need available within the yurt. Our only complaint was the firmness of the mattress. A mattress topper would have been wonderful. Besides the……

“We had a great stay at this property in Draper during our family spring break trip, which also included a tour of Virginia Tech. The location was perfect—less than an hour drive to campus. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a great base for both exploring the area and spending quality time together as a family. And the dogs absolutely loved the yard! Overall, a very positive experience—we’d definitely stay here again!”
