“The cottage is as described, comfortable and big. The train is a bit noisy but earplugs do the trick - shower hot, excellent pressure, and extraordinary stars on a clear night. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you, Shaena! ”

“Staying at the Tranquil Retreat has been so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plenty of space for 3 adults and we really appreciated the upgraded amenities, including the wonderfully comfortable beds. Great, well stocked kitchen, very easy to prepare a meal and nice to have a washer and dryer. This is our second stay here to visit our daughter, and we will certainly be back.”

“The place was nice. Plenty of room for the whole family. Only 10-15min from activities, entertainment, bar and grill and boat rental. Only thing missing in the kitchen is a keurig like pod coffee maker.”

“Overall, the house was fabulous and exactly as described. Things worth mentioning 1st- The kitchen was well stocked, they offered 3 crockpots, blender, large toaster oven, plenty of dishes and utensils, Kcup and coffee pot option and a nice size cupboard next to the refrigerator to store all your food and paper products. 2nd-plenty of hand and body towels along with washcloths. 3rd-the game room is perfect for the teens including all the classic games for us older folks!4th-The outside area is……

“Nice, clean house right on the water. Both the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The view of the lake was beautiful.The stairs were no joke, but once you got down to the lake it's very peaceful. ”

“Great Lakefront House. The room layout is unique but it worked for our group (3 families in town for a travel baseball tournament). Great access to fishing and kayaks and plenty of room to have a group meal. The kids and families had a great time.”

“As a solo traveler I got the peace and serenity I was looking for. The view of the lake from different rooms in the house was breathtaking and soothing. Lots of wildlife and you can watch the fish jumping in the air. The kayaks and the paddle board enhance d the feeling of being one with the lake. My dog loved to lie on the upper deck and watch nature and the deck was completely fenced making it safer for my furry friend. ”

The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. We would 100% stay here again; it is a beautiful house! ”

“The house is great! Very, very clean. It has everything that you need. The view from the back porch is truly unbelievable. The property is secluded and very quiet, but 15 minutes from Meadows of Dan and Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant. Communication with the host was great! Without a doubt, this is the most peaceful place we have stayed at.”
