The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was tropical and welcoming. We could walk everywhere in town. We’d recommend staying there. Only downside was the water in the shower was hooked up backwards and we didn’t know, but it worked out after talking with the friendly staff at the desk

King Christian location near shops and food. I paid for upgraded room but was located on street above noisy coffee house and its music playing 24 hours a day. Our room had maintenance issues that staff quickly addressed. But this room should be discounted due to constant noise. I dont understand that music has to be played once coffee house is closed. The room also faces busy and noisy street sometimes into early morning. Please dont use 217 if possible. King Christian nice place but was truely too loud.

I was very disappointed in the fact that I stayed there for 8 days, and I complained about there not being any hot water. They were not able to fix this problem, and I completely hated staying there. While checking in I overheard another guest complaining about not hot water. So I took a cold shower ever day for 8 days. I loved the hotel and the location however I will never stay there again unless I was completely guaranteed a hot shower.

The pros: This hotel is adorable. The staff is lovely and helpful. The beds are comfortable. It's in a great location. The cons: the water in the shower never really good hot. It's 80 degrees outside though so you'll live. I consistently had issues with my key card not working which was really inconvenient when trying to get into the parking lot. I would have to back out of the narrow alley and head to the front gate. Again not a huge deal. My biggest issue was my room was over the tiki bar and two nights out of my three night stay there was very loud karaoke. The first night it ended at 12 so not terrible. The second night not till 2 am. The 3rd night i took the xanax that i usually reserve for the dentist so if there was lots music i was finally able to sleep through it. Overall it was a good experience but make sure you get a room away from the bar.

This property is a 3.5 star property. It’s boutique but definitely not a Kimpton. Staff is lovely. Location is great but the steak house restaurant was only open one day. There is not a beach that you can walk even if you go via the water taxi to sister property Hotel on the Cay.

Great location and liked the boat taxi to the beach across the water. Except for our initial meeting in the lobby the rest of the staff was not overly welcoming. Couple of the mornings doors were slamming often so we couldn’t sleep past 8:00am

First, checked in and the window to the outside had no locks. Secondly, I'm 6 foot 2 and 260 but the bed bottomed out in my mid section. My head and feet above me mid section. Third, the interior door to our hallway, squeaked so bad that every time it opened and closed it would wakes us. We were the 1st room inside the door. Loud inside the room corridor on the 3rd floor. Went to the front desk after 45 minutes of partying down the hallway with doors opening and closing and music playing loudly. It was11:45pm. Asked to be moved rooms. They advised I booked thru Expedia they had no rooms. Went back at 12:30am and again complained. They had to call a manager and again no move sine thru Expedia. Told security would be there in 45 minutes to check the noise out. People making noise came thru lobby. Told staff that was them as I opened my door and asked to quiet down. was called a Mfer. Continued that night. Went the next morning and was told could be moved for an upcharge. I get its an old place to stay with thin doors and walls but no concern for people that book with Expedia.

Location was great. Room was decent or better. Lots of typical island challenges: humidity in the room, shower that didn't have a sealed door and made the floor a pond, staff were ambivalent at best, amentities would have been the win but were just one step below great. Nothing bad. But nothing great. Bit of a disappointment for what we had hoped. But not a bad spot.
