Looking for a place that’s as cozy as grandma’s kitchen but with way better views? Welcome to our Arrowhead mountain cabin in Cimarron, Colorado. With three bedrooms, a loft, and two bathrooms, there’s room for your whole crew.
Mornings start at the coffee bar, where the hardest decision is dark roast or hot cocoa. Days are for hiking through towering pines, fishing at fully stocked crystal-clear lakes, spotting elk and deer, or adventuring in the sparkling snow during winter. When the mountains are blanketed in white, it is a winter wonderland waiting to be explored—go snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or just chase each other around in the fluffy powder. (Fair warning: if you can’t fish, the nearest grocery store is 30 miles away, so stock up—or embrace the pioneer spirit of cooking with whatever’s in the cooler.)
Evenings at the cabin are best spent swapping stories, laughing until your cheeks hurt, or arguing over who really won at cards. Big windows bring the outdoors in, the sunny deck is perfect for stargazing, and the fireplace makes cozy nights magical after a long day exploring.
