Terri Smith and Jeff Zemanek had a vision to create a small boutique hotel allowing guest to experience the best of Historic Newport.
The Newport Inn is located at 634 Monmouth St., close to restaurants, family activities, great views, nightlife, sporting events (20-minute walk for a ballgame), river fronts in Newport and downtown Cincinnati. You’ll love the ambiance, the people, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood. Make sure to check out Newport on the Levee with live music, comedy clubs, and a world class aquarium. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

This particular suite is great for two couples to explore the city and nightlife, or for families taking in games, the aquarium, tours, and more!
This 900 sqft, second floor suite is a 2 BR (King Serta i-Comfort beds) with a non-working fireplace in each, and a large walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or carriage ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds. Jeff's career led him to spending many nights in hotels and not always satisfied by what he found. When we decided to build an inn, there were criteria which had to be met: 1. Great beds! 2. Great shower! 3. Variety of pillows! 4. Peace and quiet! 5. Free Wi-Fi! 6. HD TVs with HD signal! 7. Outside area to relax! 8. A full kitchen to make it feel like home! Lastly, a friendly staff who is there to help with recommendations or whatever is needed to make it a special stay!!

Very Pretty & Clean!
This was a fun and unique property. Love that it was located above Urban Chic and loved being able to walk to Cincy easily. The place was well-furnished and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The only issue was we weren’t as comfortable with the location in the later hours. We did enjoy our stay overall and it was a great value.

"Welcome to paradise"
We stayed here to attend a Green Day concert, and OH MAN DID WE LUCK OUT! This little gem is within walking distance of the All-American Ball Park, and we even got to go to the Newport Aquarium the next day. The accommodations were fabulous, the hosts were ON TOP OF IT. And even the restaurants around it are amazing. We will absolutely be looking for excuses to come back out and stay here again!

The place was very nice and clean and was perfect for our stay. Newport is a great little town with lots of options to eat within walking distance and is super convenient to Cincinnati. Great location
The location is our favorite as it is close to many things within walking distance. You have included parking free also. If you decide you don’t want to drive or need a break from walking you can get on the Southbank shuttle that takes you to Cincinnati or Covington. This was our second stay within 16 months and really enjoy. Checkin and out is very easy. Clean and relaxing rental. We love where it’s located. Don Kathy

Fun getaway weekend
Adorable property, very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Enjoyed the vintage touches with modern convenience. The location was perfect, walking distance to all the levee activities, the ball parks and the arena. Plenty of dining options right outside the door.

Our family zoo trip
We went to the Cincinnati zoo for the forst time and wanted tontake our time. It was sooo nice to have a home away from home to cool down and recharge. Perfect spot. We walked down to mad mikes for dinner. Got great sleep and hit the zoo again the next day. I love to tear away map, very helpful. We will be booking next summer.

Great place to stay for show at River Bend
Great directions for the off street parking and entering the property. It's a cute vintage true 2 BR apartment with an updated kitchen and bath. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet for sleeping. Unfortunately we didn't get to visit the boutique and bar, but the Wooden Cask Brewery just across the alley was a great spot for food, beer, and a great whiskey selection. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Perfect spot for a Reds game!
The hosts were awesome about communicating every detail of the check-in process, parking, etc. The property was nice and clean, stocked with plenty of towels and linens and even a few snacks. We were very pleased with our stay!

Comfortable stay
We stayed at Newport Inn when we went to a Reds vs Cardinals game. The place was very clean and looked like the pictures. We used the trolley to go to and from the game which worked out very well. The walk to get to the stop was easy. Although there were many bars near where we were dropped off the area immediately around the inn was quiet.

Loved my stay at Newport Inn!
My sister and I stayed while on a sister’s trip. The unit was clean, tastefully decorated & very comfortable. We had a quick easy walk to Newport @ Levee and found some great dining options. The hosts went above & beyond with their transparent, quick communications and graciously enabled an early check-in after our travel plans changed. Highly recommend for others and will stay again the next time in the area! We loved sitting on the community deck relaxing & reading after dinner. (Quick note for anyone with mobility issues, access is only by stairs)

Pickleball tournament
We chose this property because us was close to the venue where we would be spending most of our time just north of the river in downtown Cincinnati. The accommodations were very nice. I particularly liked the pocket doors that allowed me to rise early without interrupting others sleeping. Having snacks and coffee available was a nice touch too. I had some difficulty with the unit being on the second level due to chronic back problems. But I knew this at time of booking and feel that is not on anyone but me. I would still consider renting this unit again.
