“This is a very sweet boutique hotel--immaculately clean and brand new. the breakfast was amazing! we stayed a week and had different options every morning--all were delicious! However, it is located right beside a church which has bells ringing for 4 minutes every morning at 6 am!!!!!! early wake up call. it's also directly on the main road, so not at all quiet. you had to walk a bit to cross the road and get to the beach, but the beach walk is wonderful and has many incredible restaurants……

“The hotel is superbly located at the Eastern edge of the Palace/Old city, and just 7 min walking distance from the main bus terminal. The room is very clean, spacious and the internal decor very stylish. The minor drawbacks are: the apartments are located on first floor above the ground with not elevator (which we don't consider to be a problem, though); and our room only offered a city view. The apartments did not have any front desk (which we reckon might be quite common for apartments……

“MA de Dominis Is a lovely boutique in the center of old town split located within the walls of the palace! Prior to your arrival Ivana, the owner, messages you to give you information on how to get to the property and to see if you will need a car service set up. Upon arrival I was greeted by her lovely daughter Antonela who showed me to the room. Right from the start it was very apparent that there was a lot of love put into the property! There were details in every corner! The stone……

“The location is perfect. It's very close to Split Old City and most of the places are in walkable distance. The host is very friendly and flexible. Room is clean, toilet is spacious with heating/warm floor. Bed is comfortable and clean.”

“This location is right outside the Palace but in a plaza attached to it, making it quieter than some hotels inside the palace. The communication with the staff was great, even though there wasn’t anyone onsite. It was clean, comfortable and just what I was needing. ”

“The apartment was clean and extremely well-equipped. The staff members were friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station.”
