The flowers planted in the courtyard are beautiful. Please be aware that you must be able to walk up steep hills to get to this property. Of course, pretty much anywhere you go in Cortona is a hill.”

“We were five mature women looking for the full tuscan experience and we found it. The villa is as beautiful as described. Spacious rooms, big kitchen and the pool area was lovely. The outdoor breakfast area was especially popular for morning coffees. If you go, though, you must have a car as public transportation is not easily accessible. “This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem.
