“The inn was just as pictured and consistent with reviews we had read, however, Granny’s Cafe has limited hours and is closed certain days of the week so it wasn’t an option for us. There was a wildfire in the hills above the inn and we wish we had received some communication about it. Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay on site.”

“The room is cold and smells musty. Heat only comes from the space heater on the floor in the corner. It looked really cute in the pictures, and is quaint and quiet. Also, no tv. Good/bad, you decide. No staff on site. Didn't find out till later. Restaurant was closed on Tuesday. ”

“We had an amazing time at this place! It was super clean, cozy, and exactly like the listing described. Everything felt really welcoming, and there were so many thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. “This is a super-late review (I never got a prod to do this, sorry). We stayed here at the end of 2024, and loved it. We rowed the entire lake Sutherland using the two kayaks that are in the boathouse (the door feels closed but it isn’t), and we walked in the cold to the hotel on Crescent Lake. There’s a red squirrel who lives in a little box in a tree to the right of the house (if you face the water), and I think his name is Cyril. ”

"The soundproofing is horrible, you can hear people snoring next door. The bed and sheets are not that clean also there are people’s trash left from last customer. At least the view is pretty good and there are heater and hot shower."

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
