“The house was just as advertised. Back yard was great for our dog.Home was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and not the most convenient location, but I never felt unsafe and it was quiet.”

“Our family stumbled across this gem while looking for places to stay for a weekend near Williamsburg. The place was a dream to stay in, the hosts were wonderful and thought of so many details to make guests stay better (fresh eggs, Wi-Fi QR code, lighter and starter logs for the fire pit, all the cooking utensils, the list goes on), and the whole time we were in colonial Williamsburg our 6 yo wanted to go back to the little red barn. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer to properly enjoy the……

“Great stay - appreciated that it was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items. We especially loved the pool. You will hear the dogs barking at the pet resort next door, but overall it didn't bother us and we liked watching the dogs arrive in the mornings. Would stay again!”

“Went to check-in. Didn't have my reservations. Waited 50 minutes before the error was rectified. Turned out main office at Kings Plantation never sent my reservation to the resort. The resort had to message someone due to the fact the main office only is open until 5:00. I had reserved a cottage. This was not a cottage it was more like a duplex. We could here the people next door. The stayed up late and got up early. So we had prolems sleeping. Pool was nice.”

“We’ve reserved the property months in advance and received a confirmation. When we went to check in to the property, the resort did not have a reservation. When I contacted the homeowner, I was told “yes, that is a problem. I’ve been meaning to talk to them about that.“ We ended up not being able to stay there and had to drive three hours home.”

“The host who owns the property was excellent, responsive, and easy to work with. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome as the resort is managed by Hilton and the reservation didn't come up right away because I made the plans through VRBO. When check-in was complete, they sent me over to a salesperson to try and get me to sign on for a promotional extra night and listen to their sales pitch. I don't hold the VRBO host responsible for this, though. :)The space was really nice. We only……
