“My friend and I were looking for a place off the beaten path where we could relax and immerse ourselves in the Irish countryside. Our one month stay at Teich Titanic far exceeded our expectations! The cottage is located between the villages of Cong and Clonbur and has nearby hiking trails to both. The cottage is on a 2 mile long road lined with beautiful farms with amazing stone walls and lots of sheep, cows, and horses to visit. By car, we were able to enjoy day trips to Galway, Westport,……

“We stayed for 2 wonderful off grid weeks at this charming cottage. Eileen was a wonderful host. I was amazed at how responsive she was during the planning especially since there was such a time difference in our locations. My husband has some mobility issues, and Eileen answered all our questions to make sure that we were going to be comfortable. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed plus more for our extended stay. We had safety vests for walking, a Tesco grocery tag and reusable……

“Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. “Our large group of family and friends stayed here for a week and enjoyed the beautiful Drawing Room for morning coffee, cocktail hour and nightcaps (made extra cozy by the fireplace). During the day we enjoyed the nearby lanes and paths that wander through the green and tranquil countryside. There are a lot of attractive and large rooms that are perfect for a large group, but bathrooms (and hot water availability) need updating (some toilet seats were falling off). That said, we'd go back.……

“The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. This is a place to be highly recommended and it comes with resident donkeys. One could not ask for more. Warmer and sunnier, maybe. But hey, it's Ireland! We did have some sun!”
