“We loved our weekend in the woods at Hemlock Haven. We had a lot of trouble finding the place as our GPS wouldn't recognize the address and it's not visible from the road. The gate threw us off as well because we weren't looking for a gated driveway, (and it was labeled a different number than the cabins address). I noticed this in others comments also, a simple fix would be a message before arrival included w the welcome/renters agreement messaging. Once we found it, we loved its location!……

“This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!”

“very beautiful property. although was not expecting it to be so close to the road. everything was wonderful except for the patio down below has a bee's nest built behind the couch I was stung twice our dog was stung multiple times. the water inside of the camp the hot is cold and the coldest hot the door knob needs fixed just small things minus that we enjoyed our stay”
