Property is one of the best properties we have stayed at recently. It is the perfect location in northeast Georgia if you are looking to explore the area and/or go hiking and see waterfalls. Staff pays attention to details.

The room was very easy to get to and from. No elevators, steps, crowds, etc. The room was very clean and no carpet. I would recommend staying at this motel.

It’s a beautiful set up with king sized bed, a living room, a bar to sit at, a kitchen area with sliding doors leading to a deck. It was so warm and inviting. Great colors, beautiful wood and well supplied.

Room was clean, check in/check out was convenient, host was very responsive to our needs, location was very close to dining and outdoor activities. I would absolutely recommend staying here and if in the area again, I will return!

I loved the interiors of the suite and the interesting renovation from a motel to a vip themed cabin interior suites. I didn’t dislike anything but would have liked to have had some drawers to put clothing in. But that’s minor; everything else needed was provided and if not you could get the host to bring what you needed. Excellent service, convenient location, and quiet.

Very pretty place to relax and get away. They are very friendly and welcoming staff the room was very clean and bathroom as well( this is very important for me) the room smelled very nice when we entered it was self check in very easy we liked that.The back view of our room was pretty. The restaurant they have very nice food and friendly staff. Very close to Helen that was nice. Overall our stay was amazing

We absolutely LOVED our visit! Our room was 💯! Clean neat and tidy. Very quite area. The Dugout is right there to grab lunch or dinner. They have great food!! Everything about the Nacoochee Valley Motel was great! Definitely recommend!! Thanks for everything Cindy!! C-ya again for sure!!

When me and my wife checked in it was beautiful, nice and quiet . We booked in to check out hotels in the area because we will be working here for the next couple of months and I wanted to check out this hotel before we decided if this was the hotel we wanted to book for our trips here . The owner Cindy came knocking on our door and asked for the bottle of complimentary wine back that was on the bar with a note addressed for us . We found that very strange because when you book in , it says one bottle of wine included she tried to say it’s for frequent travelers which we are ,we travel for a living for work . She offered us appetizers in exchange for the wine which we agreed upon because we don’t drink . She told her son which we are assuming is her son he was a younger guy to show us the menu and let us chose some appetizers. He looked at me like something was wrong like he didn’t want to deal with me he whispered to his mom which is extremely rude . Yes we just got off of work and well we’re still in our work clothes looking rough . Well they left and nobody even came back to show us anything on any menu . I will never return to this lodge if this was the way you get treated . I also noticed she didn’t knock on anyone else’s door just ours . I was reading the guest book in our room and guests seem to love her . So I don’t understand why I was treated this way acting like I was going to get drunk and party or something off of wine . The suite was absolutely beautifully decorated. Felt like I was in a country home and all the decor was all wood and that style. Everything was neat, clean and appropriate, from linens to furniture. Property outside around the back end is in the process of upgrades, so did not look wonderful, but front area and parking was perfect. We did not really meet the staff and it was not to easy to keep contact directly vs internet that our carrier was battling with.

It felt personal and friendly, not just a random place. The owner is wonderful, right there for anything you may need. Make sure you go to The Dugout! I highly recommend this lodge and I look forward to returning.

Cabin was in excellent condition. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Away from the bustle of Helen but only a 10 minute drive away. Great location to many attractions. Host very responsive and helpful.

Everything was perfect! The location was perfect, not too far from things to do by yet far enough that we were away from the bustle in Helen GA. The owner made sure we were comfortable and happy when we arrived with a text message. The next morning when we were leaving for the day, she introduced herself to make sure we had everything we needed. I was surprised how nice the room was, the pictures didn't do it justice. It was large, and with an area for the bed, dining room and living room and Kitchenet. The restaurant, The Dugout Sports Bar, is next to the lodge which was a bonus. The food, staff and location were perfect. Again, the southern hospitality was endearing and welcoming. We felt at home and slept like babies. Glad we picked Nacoochee Valley Lodge for our trip.

Location was ideal for both Helen and Cleveland. Loved the cleanliness and personal touches th the updated rooms. Back deck and yard was enjoyed immensely. Can't wait to return.
