Turtle Cove Lakefront APT. 10 min from MIS, 40 min to Ann Arbor

Full private apartment lakefront (NOT ENTIRE HOUSE) with many opportunities to relax! Swim in the heated pool (SEASONAL), hot tub (open all year), Sauna, fish, kayak, bonfire, walk or bike the nearby trails, relax under the gazebo by the lake, cook/relax at the outdoor kitchen/fireplace patio. We accommodate small bachelorette parties, wedding parties and have other properties nearby for additional rentals if needed. We offer professional gift baskets for any occasion, starting at $35.

Turtle Cove is unique as it combines the active lake life most would expect, but offers also some of the wildlife you might not expect. The lake front cove was nicknamed Turtle Cove years ago as turtles come ashore each year to lay their eggs and bathe in the sun. Some of the lily pads have been preserved to keep this area as the turtles prefer it, as well as rumored to be one of the best fishing spots on the lake. Swans nest near the cat tails on the side and we are generally the first to see their signets as they hatch each year. There is plenty of clear water to enjoy the lake and activities as well as enjoy the beauty of nature the cove offers us. The apartment you will stay in, is the walkout basement level of the house with your own access and patio, although you may also use the deck above, the grounds, the gardens, etc. All interior pictures are of the apartment.

As our guests, you will have access to over an acre of fun and relaxing space. Read under the grape covered pergolas, sunbath by the pool, warm up in the hot tub first thing in the morning or in the cooler evenings, watch the lake activities or simply nap under the gazebo. Kayaks and paddle boat are available to experience the water and life vests sizes from kids to adult. The apartment you will stay in, is the walkout basement level of the house with your own access and patio, although you may also use the deck above, the grounds, the gardens, etc. All interior pictures are of the apartment.
We allow 2 pets, there is a $100 pet fee for additional cleaning.

Beautiful Clark Lake

The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. The property is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the fur babies and appreciate being able to bring our own aging pup. Having to pass through a bedroom to get to the bathroom was a little inconvenient but we didn't know we would have another couple with us when we first reserved the apt so that was not an issue that could be changed. We were very appreciative that we were able to add another couple to our reservation. Thanks for everything and we would return if needed to again!

Great little apartment on the lake

What a nice little place! They had everything we needed! A hottub, a kitchen, and a quiet getaway spot to be with a couple friends. In the summer months, there's a beautiful pool, but it was just too cold for us in March. Loved the apartment, and loved how cozy & comfortable it was for us!!!

Great chill property

We had a great time at this quaint apartment. We worked remotely from the dining table during the day and enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and lakefront in the evenings. We had everything we needed. It was remote enough to be relaxing, but close enough to any necessary amenities. We also encountered a lot of wildlife; swans, geese, sandhill cranes, fish, and we even found a tiny baby turtle and help it to the lake.

My sisters and I enjoyed our stay. Meredith and Bill were great host!! Always there to take care of our needs and answer our questions but gave us our privacy as well. They even took us on a pontoon ride around the lake. Pool and hot tub were great! We definitely will go there again!!

Super relaxing! The yard and grounds are amazing!!! Lots of wildlife to watch. Kayaks were super fun. Jacuzzi was perfect. We missed the pool opening by two days, maybe next time. Great location on a point!

Super Cute Quaint Apt.

My husband and I stayed here for a night because we were in town for a family funeral and I was pleasantly surprised. The manager is right upstairs I don't think I quite understood that but it was wonderful. She is super kind and helpful and just all around pleasant. The view of the lake is absoutley stunning! I would recommend this place.

Relaxing Winter Getaway

Our family or four had such a nice mini vacation! Sitting in the hot tub, using the sauna, and having a cozy and well-outfitted retreat was just what we needed. Clark Lake is so lovely in the winter; we enjoyed the Beach Bar restaurant and seeing all the water birds. It was great to be able to bring our dog too.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The apartment had everything we needed. This was as good as a beach vacation! We had tons of wild life to watch as well the hosts sweet puppies and kitties! Would recommend this over and over again!

Great location!

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful week at this apartment. Great location and fantastic amenities! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fishing from the dock and feeding the fish. Local hiking, and shopping were a quick car ride away. Pictures and descriptions are accurate and the owners were quick to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to get away and just relax at a beautiful lake front location.

We had a family vacation here and had a great time! Loved the pool, kayaks, hot tub. Too hot for a bonfire. Very cool outdoor kitchen. We brought our dog too and he got along with the other dogs. The owners were very nice and helpful. Just didn't like the layout of the apartment. The only bathroom is in the room with the bunk beds and you can hear the people upstairs. Other than that we had a lovely time!
