“The location is secluded and very cozy. Great WIFI for our grandson!! The kitchen was well equipped for our stay. We were not too far away from town which had a couple FABULOUS restaurants: Los Agave's, very authentic Mexican food with a lovely staff and Sapori di Napoli, as "foodies" we did not expect such an upscale Italian Restaurant in such a small town!! We would travel to Monterey to eat at either restaurant again!!”

“We were there 9/9-9/12 and had a relaxing, peaceful stay. The weather was perfect and my husband caught a few fish. The lily pads that filled the pond in 2023 had been thoroughly cleaned out which made the fishing more enjoyable. We also appreciated the pictures showing the directions at the end of Bowater. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious for our stay. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us too. The host was also very responsive to questions and easy to communicate with.……

“We booked this cabin for our family during the Semi-Casual Truck Show and it was the perfect little getaway! Close proximity to the show and a beautiful scenic creek view off the back porch. The cabin was stocked with a very special welcoming gift in the fridge when we arrived which was a beautiful unexpected surprise! Everything was very smooth with the host and I would recommend giving this rental a try. We hope we can book it again for next year. ”

“This place was amazing. Big enough for a family of 8 adults and 4 kids. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. The house was clean, the owners are easy to reach and respond immediately to any questions. The house is in the woods and the surrounding area is gorgeous. I highly recommend for any large family. I would definitely book this house again!!!!! ”

“We came over Labor Day weekend. We wanted to just spend time on the river, so that was the perfect. The only thing that was a little difficult for us was were used to sleeping in the same bed and the biggest bed that they had was a full-size with a twin bunk over the top and then they had twin beds up in the loft so myself, and my dog slept in the full size, and my husband went up to the loft and slept in a twin bed. “Very impressed! The hosts are VERY nice. Beautiful and just up the hill from Eastport Marina. As soon as you walk in, you are gently greated by a wonderful scent which stayed there throughout our stay (I fell in love with). Unique staircase which was fun to go up and down when you got used to it. This cabin had everything we needed for our stay even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash (we needed a lighter for the firepit though). Such a pleasure to stay there, even gushed to my extended……
