“I visited with three colleagues for a workshop in Astoria. This place is so nice, with a great view overlooking the river and four bedrooms. The bed I was in was super comfortable. One person brought their spouse, so they took the master suite downstairs and the rest of us each had a perfect spot upstairs. We enjoyed eating breakfast and visiting together in the evenings. I would do my very best to make sure I could stay here again if I'm ever back in Astoria.”

“My husband and I were very pleased with this booking, which I will call an apartment, since it is a compact accommodation. It was was sparkling clean. There are lovely views out both sides of the unit. Comfortable queen bed. We saw several deer on the property and hummingbirds at the feeders in the wrap around deck. “Amazing little house just outside Astoria but one major issue and one minor issue. The major issue is if you are looking for a hot shower, this isn’t the place. The showers do not get warmer than luke warm. All the sink faucets get very hot so it’s not a hot water heater issue. The minor issue is that on low visibility days or night time arrivals for the first time to the property it is almost impossible to find the gravel driveway that leads up to the house. There are no lights or reflectors……

“Even though this might be the only hotel in town, it is an EXCELLENT choice. I’ve stayed here for pleasure and then ended up staying here for work multiple times. From the front desk greeting to the breakfast to the wonderful clean rooms, this is a great hotel! The ONLY complaint (not worthy of even deducting a star) I have is a lack of bacon every morning at breakfast. Some days have bacon but as we all know, bacon is needed every day :-). ”
