From the host's unobtrusive but warm welcome, to the comfortable yet elegant home itself, including daily fresh eggs(!), our time in Galway County and at our home away from home was absolutely wonderful. ”

“Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.”

“We hebben erg genoten van de ruimte in en om het huis. Erg rustig, mooi uitzicht en goede voorzieningen in het huis. De droog ruimte was perfect daar we doornat aankwamen. Houd er rekening mee dat als je op de fiets komt het een aardige klim is richting de entree van het perceel plus een steile afdaling naar het huisje toe. Maar het geheel is de rit meer dan waard. ”

“This was just a marvelous place to stay. The house was a great location and equipped with you need. All the information we received was spot on accurate. We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. “We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……
