This was by far my worst experience.
My colleague and I were on a business trip and had booked two rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Westlake, securing them with a credit card, To our surprise, when we arrived, we were informed that the hotel had oversold and no rooms were available for us.
It’s unacceptable that a major hotel chain like Marriott would allow this to happen, how can they sell rooms that were already booked and confirmed with a credit card? If this is how they treat their customers, I will never stay with Marriott again.
Avoid this chain at all costs.
